In The Show Ring: New AKC CH Rusalka

NEW CH Saxafrax Wild Rushes Adrienne C’Est La Vie, JC, BCAT, “Rusalka” with owner-handler Sy Shaffer.

This weekend down in Florida at the West Volusia Kennel Club, Rusalka from our Shallettes litter finished her AKC championship by going Best of Opposite Sex and Owner-handled Best of Breed, piloted by her owner-handler, Sy! Thank you to judge Richard D. Albee for recognizing our girl.

Rusalka is the first AKC conformation champion we have bred, and as early as 4 weeks old she stood out to us the likely match for Sy for their first borzoi. Her moderate style is uncommon in today’s pedigrees, and we just love this athletic girl. We could not be more proud of Sy’s accomplishments with her in and out of the ring.
